Líneas de Investigación

Mis intereses se centran en la ecología de las comunidades submareales con énfasis en las interacciones entre los peces y las especies que forman hábitats como macroalgas y corales. También estoy interesado en la comprensión de los patrones de interacciones tróficas, abundancia, distribución y biología reproductiva de las especies en ambientes submareales. Soy miembro activo de la Red de Ecología de Ecosistemas Algas (KEEN ) como parte de un grupo de científicos marinos de todo el mundo interesados ​​en la evaluación de los impactos del cambio global en los bosques de algas. Los bosques de algas son muy abundantes en las costas templadas, cubriendo el 25 % de la línea costera del mundo. También hago fotografía y filmación submarina ya que estas son herramientas muy importantes para apoyar el contenido científico hacia la mejora del manejo y conservación marina.
